Responsibilities

The duties, functions, and responsibilities of the Division include:

·         managing incoming exchange student admission and academic affairs;

·         managing incoming exchange staff admission and hosting;

·         managing outgoing exchange student nominations and academic affairs;

·         managing the selection and nomination  of students and staff for outgoing exchange mobility scholarships;

·        managing​ ​ admission​ ​of third-party study abroad programs students;

·         managing  logistical support for third-party study abroad programs​
International Relations Department

The duties, functions, and responsibilities of the Division include:

·         organizing/co- organizing international conferences, forums, workshops and seminars;

·         coordinating visits of incoming international delegations;

·         coordinating international visits of university administration delegations;

·         drafting and producing university administration correspondence in English;

     liaising with international sponsors of students and staff including DAAD, Fulbright, IIE, KOICA, and JICA; ​


International Relations Department

The duties, functions, and responsibilities of the Division include:

·         processing visa extensions and residency permits for international exchange students and staff;

·         processing work permits for international staff;

·         liaising with HR and host schools and academic departments concerning international staff contracts

·         facilitating on-campus housing for sponsored international staff;

​Division tasks, functions and responsibilities:

  • Preparing dispatch-related announcements for all colleges
  • Checking the comparison tables and applications sent from colleges for the purposes of running for delegation
  • Follow up the academic affairs of the delegates from the beginning of their obtaining the scholarship until its end and their return to the university.
  • Sending the transactions related to delegates (renewing delegation / postponing delegation / extending delegation) to the appointment and promotion committee, after obtaining approvals from officials in the various colleges to which the delegates are affiliated.
  • Communicate with the delegate three months before the expiry date of his delegation to proceed with the follow-up procedures for his academic level and request a detailed report from the supervisor responsible for each delegate.
  • Proceeding with the preparation of a memorandum for the purpose of appointing the delegate in the department or college to which he is affiliated.

​Division tasks, functions and responsibilities:

  • Implementing the decisions of the Appointment and Promotion Council regarding delegates (renewing delegation - ending delegation / extending delegation / postponing commitment / nominating delegation) and others.
  • Follow up the delegates' financial matters with the financial department at the university (university fees / checks / financial allocations / health insurance / travel tickets allowance and thesis printing).
  • Follow up the delegates' information system on the computer and update its data.
  • Follow-up of transactions related to delegates' mortgages (estimating the values/ placing a mortgage reference/ releasing a mortgage/ insurance bonds/ calculating the values ​​of the mortgages to be retained or claim values ​​for delegates).
  • Preparing dispatch department reports (lists of delegates/delegation candidates/other miscellaneous reports).
  • ​Correspond with delegates via e-mail (requesting and sending documents/responding to delegates' inquiries).

Sponsored Students and Staff Department

·        Developing IT solutions that assist in the management of funded projects.

·        Extending specialized knowledge about project sponsors, available funded projects, and offering managerial support for coordinators.

·        Reviewing all project applications and its proposed budget before submitting them to project sponsors.

·        Prepare/review any project-related drafts of agreement or memorandum of understanding and assist in accelerating the signing process.

·        Monitoring the progress of sponsored projects once granted.

·        Managing Funded Projects financially and prepare financial reports.

·        Measuring performance and prepare reports.

·        Categorizing projects according to their areas, sponsors, the amount of support given, the names of the implementation team, outcomes or any other matters related to them. ​​

  • Drafting MoU’s and agreements in coordination with the Legal Affairs Department;
