The University of Jordan (UJ) advanced in the Academic Ranking of World Universities 2025 of the ShanghaiRanking, with six subjects listed among the world’s top-ranked disciplines. With a 50% increase in the number of ranked subjects compared to last year, UJ now leads among Jordanian universities in both the total number of listed subjects and the number of subjects ranked first nationally. The University’s key results were as follows: Nursing and Dentistry & Oral Sciences ranked among the top 201–300 universities worldwide. Mathematics and Telecommunication Engineering ranked among the top 301–400 universities worldwide. Public Health and Education ranked among the top 401–500 universities worldwide. UJ also secured first place nationally in five out of the six listed subjects, reflecting the strong academic and research performance across its disciplines and its continued progress in global excellence indicators. This achievement reaffirms UJ's leading role in enhancing academic and research competitiveness, solidifying its presence in international rankings as the most represented Jordanian institution in the Shanghai subject rankings.
