The Office of Global Rankings and International Accreditation has concluded a series of ranking meetings with the university’s schools, chaired by the Vice President for Accreditation, Global Rankings, and Sustainability. This third round of meetings for the year 2025 began on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, and continued until the end of Sunday, November 2, 2025. During the meetings, the Director of the Office of Global Rankings and International Accreditation presented a detailed overview of the criteria for both the QS and Shanghai subject rankings, highlighting each discipline’s current standing within these criteria. The meetings concluded with an agreement on the upcoming action plan for the ranking period, aimed at strengthening efforts and achieving the best possible results in future international rankings. The meetings were attended by the office team, in addition to the deans of the schools, their deputies, and assistants for rankings and international accreditation affairs, as well as the heads of departments. The sessions included a presentation on the Shanghai Ranking, explaining its criteria and the required steps to enhance the university’s position in the coming years, along with a review of the QS Subject Ranking report and a discussion of each school’s future plans related to international rankings. These meetings aim to promote a culture of global rankings across the university’s schools and to raise the level of preparedness to achieve greater excellence in future subject rankings.
