As part of the University of Jordan’s efforts to enhance the quality of academic programs and expand the scope of international accreditation, a meeting was held at the School of Rehabilitation Sciences, chaired by the Vice President for Global Rankings and International Accreditation. During the meeting, progress in preparing for accreditation was reviewed for the following programs: World Physiotherapy (WP) accreditation for the Physical Therapy Program International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) accreditation for the Prosthetics and Orthotics Program This meeting is part of a series of regular follow-up sessions aimed at ensuring systematic and organized progress, as well as monitoring the fulfillment of the requirements set by international accreditation bodies for each program. The meeting included a review of the readiness of accreditation files, discussion of remaining challenges, and planning for the upcoming period. The participants emphasized that expanding international accreditations reflects the university’s commitment to academic excellence, contributes to improving educational outcomes, and elevates program standards in line with global benchmarks, while also enhancing the opportunities available to students and graduates both locally and internationally. It is worth noting that the University of Jordan places growing importance on improving the quality of education and ensuring continuous development. These meetings are considered a key tool in achieving the university’s strategic goals.
