Exploring Cooperation Between the University of Jordan and the High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education in France

The Vice President of the University of Jordan for Humanities Schools, Dr. Nahed Omish, received in her office today Michelle Hope, the Project Manager in the Department of International and European Affairs at the High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCÉRES) in France. Hope was accompanied by Billy Troy, the Scientific Attaché at the French Embassy, on their first visit to the university to explore avenues for academic, research, and scientific collaboration. During the meeting, which was also attended by Nujoud Al-Debei, Director of the Office of Global Rankings and International Accreditation, both parties discussed strengthening cooperation with a prestigious global institution such as HCÉRES. As an institution accredited at both European and international levels, HCÉRES is recognized by the French government for evaluating and accrediting various higher education institutions in France. Omish presented the university’s academic experience and distinguished journey, highlighting its prestigious standing among its counterparts locally, regionally, and internationally. She also emphasized the university’s commitment to improving the quality of education in its academic programs and its dedication to fostering a culture of excellence and leadership across various academic, scientific, and research activities. For her part, Hope praised the university’s high standing among its peers and the quality and efficiency of its educational programs. She expressed her satisfaction with the visit, which is expected to define future cooperation prospects between the two parties and open doors for fruitful collaboration in various fields.
