The Vice President for Global Ranking and International Accreditation at the University of Jordan, Prof.Dr. Faleh Al-Sawaeer, participated in the QS India 2025 Summit, held in Goa, India, from January 27 to 29, 2025. The summit brought together a distinguished group of higher education leaders and decision-makers from around the world to discuss the latest trends and challenges in the higher education sector. This year's summit focused on enhancing international cooperation among universities, the role of scientific research in achieving sustainable development, transformations in higher education amid advanced technology, and innovation in developing skills required for the global job market. The event also featured panel discussions on university strategies for improving academic rankings and enhancing international reputation. On the sidelines of the summit, the University of Jordan signed several Memoranda of Understanding with prestigious global universities, aiming to exchange faculty members and researchers, conduct joint scientific research, collaborate in organizing conferences and academic seminars, and develop academic and training programs. Dr. Al-Sawaeer emphasized that the University of Jordan’s participation in this international event reflects its commitment to strengthening its academic standing and expanding its global partnerships, contributing to its vision of leadership and excellence in research, education, and community service.
