In a move aimed at promoting the website of the University of Jordan internationally, Professor Dr. Falah Al-Sawair, Vice President of the Jordanian University for World Rankings and International Accreditation, visited the School of Educational Sciences, where he met with Professor Dr. Mohamed Sayel Al-Zayoud, Dean of the School, and the International Accreditation Team. The visit aimed to research the strategic frameworks required to bolster the school’s standing and enhance its academic ranking within global rankings, reflecting the school’s academic excellence internationally. The meeting included extensive discussions about the factors that contributed to the school’s achievement of the 258th position for educational sciences majors and 49th in library and information sciences in the global "QS" ranking. Dr. Al-Sawair expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the school, its members, and various working teams to achieve this success. He emphasized the importance of maintaining this position and intensifying efforts to reach higher ranks in future evaluations, noting that these advanced rankings place the University of Jordan on the global map of excellence in the field of educational sciences. During the discussions, a comprehensive analysis of various global rankings, including educational sciences disciplines, was addressed. Dr. Al-Sawair highlighted that these rankings rely on integrated standards such as the quality of teaching, the impact of published research, the strength of academic programs, and prestigious international partnerships. He stressed the importance of developing these aspects to enhance the school’s opportunities for achieving top positions in future academic rankings. On his part, Professor Dr. Al-Zayoud reviewed the continuous efforts of the School of Educational Sciences to achieve these ambitious goals, citing the university's ongoing support in improving the quality of teaching and research.
