The Office of Global Rankings and International Accreditation held a series of meetings with various colleges to discuss international accreditation matters, chaired by the Vice President for Global Rankings and International Accreditation. These meetings aim to raise awareness about the importance of international accreditation and its role in developing academic programs, as well as to guide colleges in seeking specialized international accrediting bodies with a reputable standing and to proceed with the accreditation processes for the appropriate entities. The meetings include all colleges, whether internationally accredited for monitoring their accredited programs or those not yet accredited to initiate the international accreditation processes. As part of this initiative, a meeting was held with the Higher Committee for International Accreditation of the School of Science to follow up on the accreditation process for the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences with the NAACLS (National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences).
