International Conference on Nuclear Knowledge Management and Human Resources Development: Challenges and Opportunities - Student Video Contest 2022

​One of the challenges of the human resources lifecycle in the nuclear field is attracting and recruiting talented individuals. To foster the younger generations interest in education in nuclear technology, the IAEA is holding an international student video contest in conjunction with the International Conference on Nuclear Knowledge Management and Human Resources Development.

Teams of up to 4 students, age up to 18, with at least 50% female representation are invited to produce a short video on the role of nuclear technology in addressing climate change. Teachers can be advisors.

Students can present the role of nuclear technology in addressing climate change:

  • To themselves as individuals, communities, regions, countries
  • Through Innovation / technology
  • Its issues / benefits
  • On their potential inspiring careers, etc.

The five finalist videos will be presented at the IAEA conference in Moscow and be given certificates and awards, the winning team will receive electric bicycles from Rosatom.
