The International Relations Department (IRD) manages the University’s agreements, endowments, academic exchange and study abroad programs, mobility scholarships, and international student and scholar services. It also organizes international events. IRD consists of three divisions.

expand  Academic Exchange & Study Abroad Programs

The duties, functions, and responsibilities of the Division include:

·         managing incoming exchange student admission and academic affairs;

·         managing incoming exchange staff admission and hosting;

·         managing outgoing exchange student nominations and academic affairs;

·         managing the selection and nomination  of students and staff for outgoing exchange mobility scholarships;

·        managing​ ​ admission​ ​of third-party study abroad programs students;

·         managing  logistical support for third-party study abroad programs​
expand  International Agreements

The duties, functions, and responsibilities of the Division include:

  • Drafting MoU’s and agreements in coordination with the Legal Affairs Department;
  • Maintaining the university agreements database

expand  International Cooperation & Correspondences

The duties, functions, and responsibilities of the Division include:

·         organizing/co- organizing international conferences, forums, workshops and seminars;

·         coordinating visits of incoming international delegations;

·         coordinating international visits of university administration delegations;

·         drafting and producing university administration correspondence in English;


expand  International Student & Scholar Services

The duties, functions, and responsibilities of the Division include:

·         processing visa extensions and residency permits for international exchange students and staff;

·         processing work permits for international staff;

·         liaising with HR and host schools and academic departments concerning international staff contracts

·         facilitating on-campus housing for sponsored international staff;

·         liaising with international sponsors of students and staff including DAAD, Fulbright, IIE, KOICA, and JICA; ​
